Your work is most impactful when people understand why it matters.
I’m Hannah Holden, and I help arts organizations find their stories and tell them in ways that everyone can understand.
I’m a communications professional with 10+ years of experience amplifying the voices of artists, designers, architects, and activists shaping our world. I hold an MFA in Writing from Columbia and have a proven track record of bringing complex ideas into the mainstream through media relations and content strategy.
I’ve worked for museums, foundations, and universities, both through agencies and in-house at the Smithsonian and Pratt Institute. I partner with boards, researchers, and everyone in between to hone key messages and surface the stories that bring them to life. I directed communications for a grassroots advocacy effort that opened New York City’s first overdose prevention centers and saved over 1,000 lives.
I currently serve as a staff writer at Prattfolio, Pratt Institute’s print and digital magazine, where I write stories that celebrate the Institute’s community of students, faculty, and alumni.
